Luke is coming in a few hours and tonight we are going to see the amazing Roger Waters from Pink Floyd perform The Wall!!!!!!!!!!!! i am so excited :D those two things alone are enough to make this an amazing birthday.

Dance of the Dumbo Octopod
Remotely piloted camera captures mysterious white octopod 6600 feet down off the Oregon coast. Nicknamed “Dumbo” for its ear-like fins, this animal patrols deep sea regions near hydrothermal vents.
There are more things I love about this than I can possibly express: use of “octopod!” Pacific Northwest! ROV! Invertebrates!

A word on Bin Laden's Death
So, i woke up today to find the news that Bin Laden had been killed by the US in Pakistan. Here it wasnt really a big deal- it was welcomed news by all, but that’s pretty much it as far as i could tell. i then went on to find all the videos of US cities and universities and these seemingly massive riots and parties that went on to celebrate the murder of the man.
