sad times right? Though this title is a bit misleading, my restriction is more along the lines of no BUYING chocolate until i hit 135. which means if i just happen to stumble across some vegan chocolate in the meantime…i am free to help myself :D
aha but basically my point is that i’m gonna put a bar on buying crappy foods till i hit my goal. Nad then once i get there i might indulge for a day or so and then cut it off again till i hit my next goal, my final goal , of 130. i really gotta start kicking my ass into gear!! only 2 months till i go home for summer!!!
it’s hard to be too motivated as the weather has been nothing short of disgusting and cold and wet for ages :( seriously depressing. I mean we get spurts of sun here and there but it’s not warm ;_; my body needs some freaking warmth!! from the sun!!!! i need to photosynthesise!!!!!!!!!
the weather alone is enough to have me dying to be at home where it’s beach weather. but alas i must pull through and start getting out there every day for a run or getting down to business in my room. It’s just a matter of starting at this point… i’ve done a little here and there but nothing particularly strenuous. So i think tomorrow i might try to do the shred (level one- it’s been a while….) and some pilates soon after. I’ll be needing it after my vegan dessert party xD
My boyfriend told me how proud he was of me this afternoon for sticking to this weight loss thing and getting as far as i have. It really meant a lot to hear it, as he’s been with me every step of the way, through my literal ups and downs on the scale as well as mentally :P And it made me realise that i’m proud of myself too! i’ve never stayed this committed for this long and finally seen results- i mean it’s been slow as ffffffff, but i’m getting there. i know if i just crack down again like i was before i went off to greece, with my diet and exercise i’ll be where i want to be in a matter of weeks. With revision period coming up i think things are actually in my favour as i ten to develop a good routine once i get into my studying. Exercise becomes a much welcomed break :L i remember doing pretty well in january with everything, but then again, i was fresh off my new years resolution.
I’ve been trying to think of new and more exciting ways to be active, beyond simply running and doing random exercise videos. Football is always a good one, but it’s hard to find people to play with, unless i’m at my boy’s then we play together :P Riding is always great, but alas, i only have it once a week, twice on a rare occasion. Sometimes i pretend i’m Luke and jump over things and roll around B) I’d love to take up rollerblading but i havent really got the money for them :L With a birthday coming up, i suppose i could ask for some, but they’re annoyingly on the expensive side, and i cant seem to find cheap ones (i’d happily settle for used, you’d think there’d be loads of them floating around for cheap but i cannot find!!!) so i dont think i will. i could treat myself but i’ve already kinda done that. Oh i didnt tell you guys…i bought a clarinet :L not conducive to weight loss but still really cool! in any case i’ve got some rollerblades back at home so i could do it over the summer if i really wanted.
anyway. just a bit of a ramble on from me. What exercise do you guys do for fun?
