heya! so yesterday was a great day, if a bit off in the eating department :P
i had scrambled tofu with onion and garlic in for breakfast, along with a banana dipped in soya yogurt :D yum!! this is different to my normal oatmeal, banana and green tea but it was a welcomed alternative :) love me some scrambled tofu.
i had riding in the afternoon, and a dumbly didnt eat or bring a lunch with me. there’s always free crisps at riding so….i ate a lot of those when my tummy began grumbling :L then i felt guilty so when i got home i didnt have a real lunch (since i already consumed all those empty calories), i just ate an apple and then went for a nice run/walk :) did some hill runs, 3 sets of 5. oh how i despise them when i’m doing them. but worth the feeling after!
i then had an amazingly delicious dinner of rice, tofu and mixed veg recipe courtesy of Luke (he made it for me over the weekend….my god. it’s meant to be made with broccolini but i didnt have any so i substituted. still amazing.) It was light, yet filling- you use soy sauce and lemon juice to flavour it so it has a strong, fantastic taste but you dont feel like you swallowed a rock after….which is how i feel when i eat curry :P
I’ve been tracking my food again this week and it really does do wonders for my weight loss. i’m so much more aware of my intake when i do it, and often it keeps me making good choices all day because i know i’ll have to put it into my food diary!
anyway today i saw 137 on the scale for the first time- 137.8 lbs to be exact :) very motivating! it’ll be progress picture time before you know it!!!
i’ve got riding again tomorrow and i’ll probably go for a walk or run this afternoon. i love being on a losing streak ;)
